Chinese president thanks President Saleh

SANA’A, May 19 (Saba) -President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday a thank-you cable from the Chinese president Hu Jintao in reply to Saleh’s condolences over victims of the earthquake that hit China’s Sichuan province. Last week, a powerful earthquake struck the Chinese province of Sichuan in which more than 71.000 were announced to have been dead, buried and missing and about 220.000 were injured. MD/FR Saba
