Hamas leaders condole president on al-Ahmar death

SANA’A, Dec. 29 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday two phone calls from Esmail Hania and Khaled Mashal, head of the Hamas Political Office who expressed condolence for the death of Parliament Speaker Sheikh Abdullah bin Hussein al-Ahmar. They highlighted the national stance of the deceased in supporting the Palestinian issue. AH/AM Saba
