Palestinian president to visit Yemen next Saturday

SANA’A, Feb. 23(Saba)- The Palestinian president Mahmoud Abas (Abu Mazin)is to arrive in Sana’a next Saturday on a few-day official visit for talks with president Saleh.

The ambassador of Palestine to Yemen Khaled Sheikh said that the visit of Abu Mazin to Yemen is important and that Abu Mazin looks forward to visit Yemen since was elected as president.

” The visit is important as the president Abu Mazin has warm relations with President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Yemen has a significant position in supporting the Palestinian issue and it has steady stances towards the rights of Palestinians”, said Sheikh.

Sheikh said Abu Mazin would visit Yemen for consultations and talks with president Saleh over the current developments in Palestine that livesa new situation after the successful transparent and democratic parliamentarian elections.
