PM hands over Qatari Emir message from President Saleh

DOHA, Jan. 29 (Saba)- Emir of the State of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani met on Tuesday with Prime Minster Ali Mujawar who handed him a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh on mutual relations between the two countries and latest developments in the area. During the meeting, al-Thani highlighted the developed level Yemeni-Qatari relations have reached, confirming Qatari support for complete integration of Yemen to GCC. “Interests of the Arabic Peninsula countries require being one body,” he said, clarifying that the important thing in this period is Yemen’s integration in all Gulf organizations and bodies for complete integration to GCC. Mujawar, for his part, valued efforts of Qatari officials in supporting Yemen’s integration into GCC, highlighting role of Qatar in supporting development plans of the country. During the meeting, Mujawar talked about Yemeni laborers issue in Qatar, hoping to enhance their existence in the county according its need. The Qatari Emir asked Mujawar to convey his best wishes to President Ali Abdullah Saleh, wishing him full health and continuous development and prosperity for the Yemeni people. MS/AM Saba
