President congratulates new Russian president

SANA’A, March 03 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to new Russian president Dmitry Medvedev. In his cable, President Saleh expressed warm congratulations for the new president, wishing him best luck and success in his mission to follow up what former Russian president did to enhance role of the country to realize strategic balance in the world. He affirmed concern of Yemen to boost its historical ties with Russia to achieve active partnership between the two countries in various fields. AH/AM Saba
