President receives condolence on Shura chairman’s death

SANA’A, Aug. 22 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday calls of condolence on the death of Shura chairman Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani, who died of wounds from attack on the Presidential Palace’s Mosques. The President received calls from a number of government’s officials, members of Parliament and Shura Council, Ministers, clerks, businessmen and social figures.They have expressed their profound sorrow of the great loss, praying The Almighty show mercy on the deceased and bless his family with solace to overcome their loss.They also renewed their condemnation on the terrorist attack, demanding to accelerate the investigation procedures to unveil the perpetrators and punish them.The Chairman of Shura Council Abdul Aziz Abdul Ghani died on Monday morning of injuries from the attack on the Presidential palace on June 3 led to wounding President Ali Abdullah Saleh and some senior state officials. Abdul Ghani will be buried in Yemeni capital Sana’a on Wednesday, August 24.AF
