President Saleh confirms Yemen keenness on Syria security
SANA’A, June 06(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday the visiting Syrian vice president Farouk al-Shara who conveyed greetingsof the Syrian president Bashar al-Asad to president Saleh and the Yemeni people.
The talks revolved around the latest developments in the region, particularly the situations in Palestine and Iraq and the common
efforts exerted to reinforce Arab consolidation and activate joint work and the fraternal relations in fields of cooperation and means
to reinforce them.
President Saleh affirmed Yemen’s steady stance and its consolidation with Syrian efforts to protect its stability and security.
He caused al-Shara convey greetings wishes of more health and prosperity to the Syrian president, government and people.
