President visits Abyan governorate

ABYAN, Dec. 05(Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Tuesday a visit to Abyan valley delta to get acquainted with the amount of rains and floodsin the delta. He recommended competent authorities to build more dams and finalize work process in water facilities of the delta to benefit from water perfectly. He also urged the authorities to sprout awareness of safe using of water among people. Moreover, president Saleh visited 7th October Factory, was established in 1972, for producing ammunition and spare parts and toured in the different sections of the factory. He directed officials of the factory to start the second phase of improving the factory so that it produces various equipment needed in the military forces. AM/AH SABA
