Qatari investments in Yemen to receive all care: President Saleh

SANA’A, June 01 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh affirmed Sunday that Yemeni government would offer all the care to the Qatari investments in Yemen. During his meeting with Qatar’s crown prince sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, who is visiting Yemen currently, president Saleh praised the Qatari efforts that came out with the Doha deal that ended the Lebanese crisis. Saleh also hailed the Yemeni-Qatari brotherly relations, affirming his keenness on enhancing them to realize the two countries’ common interests. The meeting attended by Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi discussed the brotherly relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, particularity the in investment field in addition to the latest developments in the region. They also talked about the investment and tourist Rayan project, which costs of US $ 560 million, whose foundation stone was laid today, Sunday. The Qatari crown prince participated in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the investment Rayan project that will be set up at the Faj Attan district in Sana’a on 440,000 square meters.
