Saleh, Musharraf hold talks

SANA’A, Dec. 4 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf held talks on mutual cooperation, especially in fieldsof economy and security.
They have also discussed coordination efforts in fighting terror.
The two leaders exchanged viewpoints over the latest developments in the region and issues of common concern.
President Saleh highlighted the good level of the mutual cooperation and showed Yemen’s keen interest to bolster its ties with Pakistan to serve the common interests of two peoples.
President Musharraf showed his desire to deepen bilateral ties with Yemen, appreciating the position of the Yemeni government and people and their support for the Pakistani people after the earthquake that hit Pakistan last October. The talks were attended by senior Yemeni and Pakistani officials.
