Saleh, Qatar Emir hold closed session talks

SURT, LIBYA, March 27 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met Saturday in Surt the Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The two leaders held a closed session talks on the sidelines of the 22nd round of the Arab summit during which they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to joint cooperation spheres to better them in a ways serving peoples of Yemen and Qatar. They affirmed keenness to improve and expand the fraternal relations and coordinate stands of the two countries with regard to issues related to the Arab nation in order to promote solidarity and activate the Arab joint work. Saleh valued the Qatari supportive stances for Yemen’s security, stability and unity. For his part, the Qatar Emir affirmed support of Qatar for Yemen, noting keenness of Qatar to invest in Yemen and bolster joint interests. AM/AM Saba
