Saleh telephones Egypt's Supreme Military Council Chief

SANA'A, Feb 12 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh telephoned on Saturday head of the Egyptian Supreme Military Council Muhammad Tantawi who is in charge of running Egypt's affairs after President Hosni Mubarak stepped down on Friday. President Saleh voiced the firm stance of the Yemeni government and people towards the Egyptian people and every thing that can help preserve Egypt's security and stability and achieve aspirations of the Egyptian people. " I am confident the Egyptian military represented by the Supreme Military Council is capable of assuming its responsibility in a perfect way, especially during these circumstances with the aim of protecting Egypt's achievements and serving its people," Saleh said.
