President receives Iranian leader envoy

SANA’A,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday Ayatullah Mohammad Taskheeri, the envoy of the Iranian Revolution leader Sheikh Ayatullah Ali Khameni.

Taskheeri handed president Saleh a letter from Khameni related to the brotherly relationships between the two countries.

The letter also confirmed Iran adherence to develop cooperation relations with Yemen and to continue discussions over Islamic issues, especially under the current circumstances, in addition to Iran stance towards its nuclear program.

President affirmed Yemen concern to enhance bilateral relations with Iran in different fields.

He also asserted the right of Iran to possess nuclear energy for peaceful uses.
