Somali President receives Yemen diplomat

MOGADISHU, May 20 (Saba) – Yemeni ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Omar met on Wednesday with the Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.The meeting discussed the current developments in the Somali arena and the exerted efforts to heal the Somali rifts.President Sheikh voiced his appreciation to the President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s attitude supporting the Somali transitional federal institutions, wishing all progress and success to Yemen.He asked the ambassador to convey his regards to President Saleh and congratulations on the 19th anniversary of the Unification Day to the Yemeni government and people.TD/AF
