UAE President receives letter from President Saleh

ABU DHABI- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar delivered on Tuesday a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh to President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The letter was handed over to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Emirate and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The letter reviewed the developments of the situation in the region and the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.

Mujawar and Al Nahyan discussed bilateral cooperation relations and their current priorities and future trends in various areas.

For his part, Mujawar noted to the distinguished level of Yemeni-UAE relationship, valuing the UAE's support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen.

He voiced appreciation of the role of UAE and Gulf states to address the underway crisis in Yemen.

For his part, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince affirmed the UAE's attitude in support of the security, stability and unity of Yemen, hoping that Yemen will overcome the crisis and continue the process of construction and progress of the Yemeni people.

In the two previous days, Mujawar handed over letters from President Saleh to each of the Omani Sultan Qaboos Bin Said al Said, Amir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Soud of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The letters dealt with the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the possible means to maintain the security and stability of Yemen and the region's states.
