President receives credentials of new ambassadors to Yemen

SANA’A, May 05 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Wednesday the credentials of new ambassadors of friendly countries to Yemen. President Saleh received the credentials of Alessandro Fallavollita on his appointment as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Italy, Mitsunori Namba as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Empire of Japan, Carl Vibe as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Nour Rahman as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh and Bishop Peter Rajeek as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the State of Vatican.After that, President Saleh held separate meetings with the newly appointed ambassadors, voicing his welcome and best wishes to all of them during executing their missions in the country. Saleh asserted that they would enjoy all care and attention to enable them to do their duties so as to serve the bilateral relations and joint cooperation between Yemen and their countries. For their part, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of the leaders of their countries to President Saleh, wishing him continued good health and happiness and the bilateral relations between Yemen and their countries further progress and prosperity.They also affirmed their keenness to do their utmost to serve and boost the bilateral relations between Yemen and their countries.BASaba
