President Saleh orders to help heavy rain-affected people

SANA’A, May 06 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh has ordered the concerned bodies to assist the affected people of the heavy rains fell on Wednesday.The president’s directives have been issued during his inspection visit in the capital Sana’a made following the Wednesday’s heavy rains. The president was briefed on the impact of the rain floods, which claimed the lives of seven people in addition to two injuries.The floods have also destroyed 200 houses in the northern of the capital Sana’a and drifted six cars.Rescue teams managed to save 40 cars and tow about 220 ones broken down because of the floods.AF/AF
