President Saleh arrives in Paris

PARIS,(Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived on Sunday in the French capital Paris for a three-day state visit at the invitation of French President Jacques Chirac.

The visit is the third leg in a tour that has already taken President Saleh to Japan and the United States.

President Saleh would hold many talks with Chirac and a number of French officials on the bilateral relations and horizons of developing them at all levels.

They would also exchange the viewpoints about the latest developments on the regional and international arenas of common concern, especially
in the Middle East, Palestinian, Iraq, Somalia and African Horn.

The talks would focus also on the latest developments in Syria and the outcomes of Melise report, adding to discussing efforts to fight
terrorism and means of supporting the peace steps in the area.
