President’s USA visit preparations discussed

SANA’A, April 14 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh discussed on Saturday with the American ambassador to Yemen Thomas Krajeski preparations for the coming visit of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the USA on May in response to an invitation by US President George W Bush. They meeting also dealt with ways of enhancing cooperation ties between the two countries in the fields of development, security and fighting terrorism. Karajeski confirmed that the his country is interested in reinforcing relations with Yemen, reconfirming support for Yemen’s efforts in strengthening democracy and economic reforms. He praised achievements made by Yemen in confronting terrorism. FR/AM SABA
