Saleh felicitates German newly elected President

SANA’A, July 04 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Sunday a felicitation cable to the newly elected German President Christian Wulff.The felicitation cable was for wining the presidential election held on Wednesday.President Saleh expressed, in the cable, his satisfaction on the progressed level of the Yemeni-German cooperation relations.He also indicated to the positive attitudes of Germany in supporting Yemen’s unity, democracy and development either at the bilateral level or as apart of the European Union (EU).The president affirmed Yemen’s keenness to promote its relations and cooperation fields with Germany in different areas for serving the two countries’ common interests.FJ/AF
