Saleh felicitates his Greek counterpart

SANA’A, March 24 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Thursday a felicitation cable to Greek President Karolos Papoulias on the occasion of Greece National Day.It is worth to mention that, March 25th marks the beginning of the War of Independence of Greece from the Ottoman Empire in 1821. Having remained under Turkish occupation for 400 years the Greeks took arms and liberated their country. FJ
